REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE. Another option if you have a lot and do not wish to overload our recycling dumpster, consider using the local Pima County transfer sites. It's easy and recycling may keep the dumpsters more available as well as save the association money. They take cans, cardboard, plastic, paper but they do NOT take glass at these sites (SEE BELOW FOR GLASS RECYCLING). They have a place for metal (cans, etc.) and one for cardboard, paper, plastic, etc. They will direct you at the gate.

Electronics Recycling
Any electronic item such as computers, appliances, printers, televisions and wiring cannot be deposited into the waste dumpster or the recycling dumpster. There are multiple businesses in Tucson that take such items at no cost.
"Pima County Department of Environmental Quality encourages businesses and residents to minimize waste production and to reuse and recycle whenever possible. The easiest and most cost-effective way of managing any waste is not to generate it in the first place. You can decrease the amount of waste you produce by developing a few good habits."
